Our Mission

…is to connect people with God, each other, and God’s mission in the world.

What We Believe

Community is an evangelical church in the Wesleyan–Holiness tradition. As such, we subscribe to the historic Christian confessions of faith. Perhaps the simplest statement of “mere Christianity” is The Apostles’ Creed, a faith statement that Christians across denominational lines have agreed upon throughout the centuries. The Nicene Creed is a statement formulated a couple of centuries later than the Apostles’ Creed in responses to some heretical preaching about other aspects of Jesus Christ. We ascribe to the truths in these creeds.

Midwest City Community Church is a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Organized in 1908, the Church of the Nazarene is now home to about 2.5 million members worshipping in more than 30,000 congregations in 162 world areas.
